Holiday Valley, NY 2011 Quarter-pipe contest plus rewind section.
The weather was supposed to be sunny but it snowed a little instead. The course proved to be a challenge as the new rewind section demanded that the skier or rider pump the small top transition in order to get speed for the down feature.
Trey Clauss from the City Garage boosted the biggest air with his super levitation skills.

Riders stuck it out for sure. Nothing like riding up a brick wall to ease your nerves of steel. Skiers dominated airtime though everyone was getting very creative tranny to multiple features. I give all the skiers and boarders who stick it out to give us a heck of a show. HV park crew did a heck of a job being creative as well. We should all be thankful that we still had the opportunity for the quarter pipe event as last year mother nature did not provide the lasting base to pull it off.
Stay strong and look forward to next years event.
