About

Welcome to 42/78 Parks at Holiday Valley. With 4 unique parks, we’ve got you covered. The area to the east of School Haus is a our newly revamped Terrain Garden, which has introductory level smaller boxes, rails and snow features. The whole idea here is to get groms up to speed, and offer am intimidation free area for them to dial in their bag of tricks.
Our park on Snoozer offers a mixed bag of mid level park features. The upper portion of the park features a serious of banked turns and rollers (think boardercross), while the lower portion features medium sized boxes, rails, as well as a double jump line. The Eastern Nationals (freeride) and USASA Boardercross events are held here, so the hill undergoes a number of makeovers throughout the season.
Jumping over to the base of Mardi Gras, we have our Rail Park, which boasts a variety of progressive and creative jib lines. by far our most dynamic park, we switch this up every week, with everything from organic (wood) features, to steel tanks, tubes, and traditonal rails/boxes. Last season we added a few snow features, and intend to do the same this year. Plan to see all rail jams going down here, including one of the top events of the year, Red Bull Buttercup.
Last but not least is our trademark 42/78 Park, located on Foxfire. This park contains our largest features for riders looking to Send It. 42/78 offers riders multiple jib and jump lines, allowing riders to get creative each run. New this season, is our revamped pipe area, which will still feature some of the transitions and characteristics of a halfpipe, but add in channel gaps, rail stations, and some hips for good measure.
